Let's do a book review!

Hullo!

Okay, so I'm a big reader. A huge reader. I'm always reading. I take a book with me everywhere I go. I get through so many books it's ridiculous. I'm also one of those people that doesn't like borrowing them from other people or the library so I buy all my books which means I have piles of books in my room and loads on my Kindle. It's great.

So, I thought I'd do a little book review of one I've not long finished. The book in question?

The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

I found out about this book because of a picture I saw of another one in the series called Blue Lily, Lily Blue. It was on my list of books to get and read and such but when I actually went to get it I found out that the one above is actually the first in the series.

I loved this book. It did take a while to get into though. I think it's because I'm not really into all the sort of fortune teller, psychic stuff. That put me off for a while and I struggled to get through the first part of the book.

But then - THEN - it got really good. Once the story got going and things started happening I started to really get into it. Oh, the twists and turns it has! There's so many things that happen that you don't take notice of until later in the book and you're like - OH! Especially with one of the Raven Boys. You get a major OH! with that Raven Boy. I couldn't believe it. I was so confused for a minute but once I worked through what I had read I thought it was the best book twist ever. It's so unexpected and unbelievable and you have to sit for a minute thinking... what the hell? But once I got past the shock I realised how perfect the revelation was.

I love Gansey - he has to be my favourite character.

I don't want to say too much because I don't want to give anything away, but I highly recommend this book - even if, like me, you're not into the psychic-y stuff, it's still amazing.

Bye-bye!

I'm so clumsy

Hullo...

I'm actually such an idiot.

I dropped my phone down the toilet.

Luckily, it had already been flushed... but still...

It's not charging so I've switched it off to save the, like, 8% charge that's left on it. It thinks that there's earphones plugged in so I can't play music or answer the phone unless I actually do plug earphones in. That means I don't know if the speaker is working because I haven't been able to test it.

I'm so angry. I keep going to reach for it and then I remember that it's switched off because it WON'T CHARGE!

I'm taking it to the O2 shop tomorrow. I'm hoping they can send it away to be fixed or something. I can't afford a new one.

There's also a patch in the bottom right hand corner where water has gotten underneath the screen. I think it's still working though, there's just a little mark.

It's the first major thing that has happened to it in the 3 years that I've had it. I think that's quite impressive considering how many times I've dropped it. I drop it all the time but there's only little tiny chips and stuff around the outside.

So, I'm phoneless.

Great.

Bye-bye
