Tough Mudder

Bonjour!

I don't know if anyone else has actually even heard of Tough Mudder. I think it's an American thing? It's basically a 10 mile long course covered in mud (duh) that's designed to be like a military style thing with obstacles. Anyway, I discovered it after seeing pictures and interviews of the Supernatural cast doing it.

So, obviously, I had to see this video.

It's a half hour long video that can be found on Osric Chau's YouTube channel (but not in some areas, I can't get onto it anymore. Here's a link to a different site if you're like me: https://vimeo.com/151688683) which show the boys - Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Osric Chau, Richard Speight Jr, Jason Manns and Rob Benedict - going through the course.

Being a major Supernatural fan (if you're not, you obviously haven't seen the show because it's impossible not to love it) it was SO MUCH FUN to watch the guys do Tough Mudder. The way it's filmed is from their point of view, so you feel like you're actually there with them. I didn't stop smiling the whole way through.

I love seeing them helping each other out and the way they interact with each other. I've been a fan of Supernatural for ages now and I've seen too many interviews to count, seen photos, the show, the gag reel, but this is different somehow. They're just a bunch of guys working together to complete this course with no fans around them and no film crew.
I'm not explaining this very well, I don't have enough experience with writing to be able to put into words what I'm thinking. Basically, the cast are incredible, it's a cool video, go watch it.

They said they're going to do it again this year - really hoping they do! - and a few of the others might be going. They said they wanted Misha Collins to go! I love Misha, he's such an amazing person. I just registered for Gishwhes (the Greatest International Scavenger Hunt the World Has Ever Seen) which is happening from the 30th July to the 6th August and is exactly what it says in the name. If you haven't signed up already and you love to help others while also having a ton of fun, then you should definitely check this out. It costs a small fee to register, but nothing that's going to bankrupt you. This is my first year, and I'm hoping it's going to be as good as I've heard it is!

Right, go enjoy the Tough Mudder video!

Au revoir!
